After recent upgrading of the CRPS unit and test rig a set of “square props”, designed and manufactured by Hercules Propellers, have been used to re-commission the systems at Potenza’s workshop in Coventry.

The propellers do not produce any thrust but load the electric motors to a similar level allowing the systems to be tested in an enclosed workshop without the expense of transporting the equipment to an airfield.
